Why do I practice yoga?

My yoga practice has invited so many positive aspects and opportunities into my life. The list of benefits I get from rolling out my mat continues to grow as my practice evolves. My practice both humbles and grounds me. It allows me clarity when life is cloudy, order when life seems to be disorganized and hopefulness when I feel hopeless. I practice yoga for the mental and physical benefits it gives me. I am better and more well rounded when I come to my mat. Yoga is my therapy. It is a change of perspective, a fresh start and a time to be thankful for all life has to offer. I practice yoga because I love it.
